Little Book Locker volunteers made our first delivery of 200 books to the Codman Square Health Center in Dorchester, MA in December! Every child who has an appointment at the pediatric clinic there now chooses a book from the Little Book Locker shelf. The doctor in charge sees the youngest children most frequently at well visits throughout the year, so we included lots of board books! Her other request was books both in Spanish and English, and we were so happy to comply. Little Book Locker's mission is to get books into the hands of kids, whether in a locker or on a shelf. Goal met: First delivery of books!
